Dear President of the Israeli Society for Research, Prevention and Treatment of Atherosclerosis, Prof Dov Gavish,
I write on behalf of Prof Alberto Zambon, Chair of the EAS National Society Collaborations Committee,
together with the Society President, Prof Kausik K. Ray, and the members of the EAS Executive Committee.
As you know, part of the Society’s mission is to advance scientific exchange in our field,
and our strengthening relationships with societies operating at a national level is a major part of that work.
We are now pleased to offer to the Israeli Society for Research, Prevention and Treatment of Atherosclerosis the opportunity to nominate,
one member to receive support from the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) to attend the EAS Congress, in 2024.
The recipients will receive complimentary registration and a stipend of 400 EUR towards their travel and accommodation.
You are welcome to nominate them by completing a short form at this link:

We strongly recommend that you nominate one young member, 35 years old or under, who has submitted an abstract to the meeting.
Please make sure they are not already in receipt of one of the Society’s direct Travel Grants or Young Investigator Fellowship awards,
as we cannot offer multiple grants to the same individual.
The deadline for receipt of your nominations is Monday, February 19, 2024.
Any nominations beyond this date will not be considered.
We look forward to the members of the Israeli Society for Research, Prevention and Treatment of Atherosclerosis joining the scientific discussion in Lyon,
France (May 26-29) for EAS Congress 2024 and continuing fruitful collaboration between our two societies.
